Stinson LLP Partners Amy Conway and David Ezrilov and attorneys Adam Mikell, Billy Price and Zachary Taylor are featured in a University of Minnesota Law School magazine article, "Staying Connected While Helping Small Businesses Succeed."

The attorneys, who are all Minnesota Law School alumni, discuss the impact of the law school's Business Law and Entrepreneurship Clinic. They supervise current University of Minnesota Law School students and assist in providing transactional-based pro bono services, supporting small businesses, nonprofits and entrepreneurs.

The attorneys say the clinic serves as a reminder of how attorneys can use the law as a vehicle for change and of the good they can do with their education and training. "The impact we have feels very tangible. It's not just drafting a contract or drafting a lease," Mikell said. "You're helping someone with their lifelong dream of owning a company. It's a deeper connection. You're learning their stories and what they want to accomplish."

In addition to providing transactional pro bono services at the Business Law and Entrepreneurship Clinic, the attorneys also assist in family, immigration and expungement matters with other legal services organizations.
